Hari Chand Middha (हरि चंद मिड्ढा)
Harichand Midha was a political leader from the state of Haryana in India. He was a member of the Indian National Lok Dal party and was known for his work in the Jind district of Haryana. Hari Chand Middha was born on 1942 at Jhang,West Punjab,Pakistan. He was educated in Jind and later went on to study at the University of Delhi. After completing his education, he returned to Jind and became involved in politics. He defeated Mange Ram Gupta who was Cabinet Minister of Haryana in 2009 in the very start of his political career.
Midha began his political career as a member of the Indian National Lok Dal party, and quickly rose through the ranks of the party. He was elected to the Haryana Legislative Assembly from the Jind constituency in 1971, and served as a member of the assembly for several consecutive terms.
During his time in the assembly, Midha was known for his work in the areas of education and agriculture. He was a strong advocate for the rights of farmers and worked to improve the standard of living for people in rural areas of Jind. He also played a key role in the establishment of many schools and colleges in the district.
In addition to his work in the assembly, Midha also held several important positions within the Indian National Lok Dal party. He served as the president of the party's Jind district unit, and was also a member of the party's state executive committee. In 2014 Vidhan Sabha Polls, he again won from this constituency.
Midha passed away on 26 August 2018 from a heart attack. He was remembered as a dedicated leader who worked tirelessly for the betterment of the people of Jind. His contributions to the development of the district and the state of Haryana were widely acknowledged and his legacy still lives on.
