Winner of the Miss India Beauty Pageant in 1984, Juhi Chawla is an Indian actress, producer, and entrepreneur. Her most popular works include Darr, Deewarein, Deewana Mastana, Mr. and Mrs. Khiladi, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, etc.

Juhi Chawla was born in Ludhiana (Punjab) and raised in Ambala (Haryana) on November 13, 1967. Her father, S. Chawla, was an officer in the Indian Revenue Service, and her mother is Mona Chawla. She studied at Fort Convent School in Bombay and graduated from Sydenham College in Bombay. She also has a brother named Sanjeev, aka Bobby Chawla, and a sister named Sonia Chawla. She married Jay Mehta in 1995, and she has two children: Jhanvi Mehta and Arjun Mehta.

Juhi debuted in the Bollywood film industry with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak in 1988, in which she starred with Aamir Khan. After that, she rose to stardom and worked in multiple movies, including Pratibandh, Swarg, Bol Radha Bol, Lootere, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Darr, Andaaz, Deewana Mastana, Ishq, etc. She has worked in more than 80 movies. She also opened her own production company named "Dreamz Unlimited" along with Shah Rukh Khan and Aziz Mirza, which produced three movies. She has also done television. She was the host of the reality show Jhalak Dikhla Ja. She is also known for her role as Pummy. Her presence on screen is enhanced by her comic timing and vivacious aura. Beside her Bollywood career, she also has ownership rights to the franchise of the Kolkata Team in the Indian Premier League.
