Ekta Kapoor is an Indian television and film producer who has had a significant impact on the entertainment industry in India. She is the founder and CEO of Balaji Telefilms, one of India's largest production companies, and is known for producing popular Indian soap operas and television series. Kapoor was born in Mumbai, India on 7 June, 1995. She is the daughter of veteran Indian actor Jeetendra and the younger sister of actor Tusshar Kapoor. Her mother is Shobha Kapoor. Kapoor studied at the University of Mumbai, where she earned a degree in commerce. After graduation, she worked as a creative director at ad film production company O&M. She didn't marry, She has a son named "Ravie Kapoor" via surrogacy.
