Akshaye Khanna (अक्षय खन्ना)

Akshaye Khanna is an Indian film actor who has appeared in Bollywood films. He was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India on March 28, 1975. Khanna is the son of the late Bollywood actor Vinod Khanna and he lost his mother Geetanjali Taleyarkhan in 2018. She was born into a Parsi family of attorneys and merchants. He is the younger brother of actor Rahul Khanna. He received his education at Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai and later studied business management at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States


After completing his studies, Khanna returned to India and began his acting career. In the 1997 romantic drama Himalay Putra, directed by Pankaj Parashar and starring his father Vinod, Hema Malini, Satish Shah, Johny Lever, Danny Denzongpa, and Amrish Puri, Khanna made his acting debut. He won the Screen Award for Best Male Debut for his performance. Over the course of his career, Khanna has appeared in numerous films, including Taal (1999), Dil Chahta Hai (2001), Hulchul (2004), and Race (2008). His performances have earned him several awards and nominations, including a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Dil Chahta Hai and a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting actor for his role in Humraaz (2002).

In addition to his acting career, Khanna has also worked as a television host and a radio jockey. He hosted the reality TV show Paisa Vaisa on the CNBC-TV18 network and the radio show Akshaye Khanna Ke Saath on Radio Mirchi. In the late 2000s, Khanna took a hiatus from acting to focus on personal matters. He returned to the film industry in 2017 with the film Mom, which was a commercial and critical success. In recent years, he has appeared in films such as The Accidental Prime Minister (2019) and Sab Kushal Mangal (2020).
